Social connections groups provide an opportunity for young people to come together in a relaxed setting, connect with others, build relationships and learn from each other’s experiences.
For some groups, sessions are activity-based and centred on the young person’s interests, such as LEGO or arts and craft.. For other groups, this may look more like a space for them to share, connect and support each other in a discussion-based setting. In this space, we want young people to be their authentic selves, and to connect with their people, fostering increased self-confidence, communication skills, and friendships.
Groups run after school, as well as on Saturday’s and during school holidays. Please get in touch here to register your interest.
Bloom Community® is a place for young people to come together, meet like-minded peers, and gain support in a safe and positive environment. Our programs include a range of activities and services that are firmly embedded in the neurodiversity-affirming paradigm, meaning that we want everyone to be their true, authentic self, while we collaboratively build on strengths and work towards shared goals.
Our current programs have been developed out of discussions with our young people and based on what they want to achieve or gain. Programs are always evolving based on what young people tell us they want.
