Education Programs

Our education programs have been developed to meet parental needs for both education and support regarding helping their neurodivergent children to thrive. These groups provide an opportunity for parents to connect, learn and collaborate on strategies to support their children, in a more formal setting.

Grounded in an affirmative approach, the program covers topics such as:

  • What your child’s neurodivergence means, both for your child and you
  • What therapy supports might be available
  • How to support your child’s well-being through parent-child interactions
  • Understanding your child’s experiences, needs and coping strategies
  • How to involve external networks, such as school, to best support your child
  • Supporting sibling connections
  • Understanding and supporting social development (in a way that best suits your child’s preferences)
  • Helping your child to regulate their emotional responses

Bloom Community® is a place for parents and carers to come together to share ideas and knowledge, to support and learn from each other, and to gain professional support in a safe and supportive environment. We do this through individual parenting support, parenting programs, informal support, and through our private facebook group, ‘Bloom Inner Circle’
