Katherine Cail
Master of Educational and Developmental Psychology, Monash University
Katherine holds general psychology registration having completed a Masters of Educational and Developmental Psychology. She has over 10 year’s experience working as a therapist providing intervention in the home, school, and clinic settings.
Katherine provides individual therapy across a broad range of areas and conducts cognitive and educational, social-emotional and behavioural assessments. She enjoys working with young people of all ages, guiding social emotional development and helping them build a strong sense of self and identity.
Katherine employs an integrative approach, drawing from a diverse range of evidence based therapeutic frameworks. Sessions may often involve a mix of creative methods, talk therapy, and play – especially with the littlest ones, and prioritise building a strong therapeutic rapport with clients and their families. Katherine recognises the frequent challenges families face, and her psychology goals are to provide helpful, effective, and personalised support in a collaborative, neuroaffirming, and trauma informed manner.
Additionally, Katherine works as a school psychologist providing targeted crisis response care. But her greatest life passion is being a mum to her three young children, with music concerts and outdoor walks for fun.
