Registered Provisional Psychologist
Master of Professional Psychology, Victoria University

Daniela is a registered provisional psychologist with 16 years of diverse experience in the health and education sectors. She has worked in secondary schools in Melbourne as a classroom teacher and as part of wellbeing teams, collaborating closely with allied health and education staff to provide individualised accommodations and support for students. Additionally, she has worked in a university clinic setting with a diverse client population as a provisional psychologist.

Daniela completed her undergraduate studies in Applied Science (Psychology) at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, followed by postgraduate studies in Education (Secondary) at the University of Melbourne, and further postgraduate studies in Psychology, including a Master of Professional Psychology, at Victoria University.

Daniela uses a neurodivergent-affirming, evidence-based, client-centred approach that is flexible and collaborative in supporting young people and their families. She fosters self-awareness and self-compassion, collaborating with the young person and their family to integrate strengths into personalised goals. She is dedicated to helping young individuals understand their unique differences, including their neurotype and sensory profile, so they can celebrate these traits, develop self-compassion, and gain a clearer understanding of their preferences.

Outside of work, Daniela is a busy mum with three energetic kids who love their sports! When she’s not driving them around, she enjoys her downtime by watching movies, planning new adventures, reading, and spending time outdoors.
